About the role

The Credit Risk & Analytics department at Nordax consists of four teams: Analytics, Credit Risk Engine, Data Engineering and the Credit Risk Specialist Team. This role is part of the Analytics team which consists of eight people who work together to generate analytical insights to support Nordax’s growth. 

You will get a unique opportunity to see the banking process end-to-end, gaining invaluable insights into the inner workings of a niche banking environment.

As an analyst, you will have a dynamic role with focus on data analysis, where you are constantly looking for ways to improve our processes. You will be an important support to the business, including, but not limited to:

  • Driving online analytics across products and countries and contributing to improvements in different departments within the bank
  • Creating insights and presenting recommendations to stakeholders
  • Setting up analytics tracking of website flows in cooperation with data engineers and the IT organization
  • Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities, including:
    • Positioning/graphics through A/B-testing
    • Product descriptions
    • Flows, gathering of data etc.

Who we are looking for

For you to succeed in the role as product data analyst, it is important to thrive in a fast-moving environment and being able to dig deep into the details of a subject, whilst keeping track of the overall picture. 

Furthermore, we see that you dare to challenge stakeholders and colleagues in a diplomatic and pedagogical way. Most of all, we would like to see you bring a curious and analytical mindset and the ability to work proactively, exhibiting a special knack for problem solving. In addition, we would like to see the following in the right candidate:

  • Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as engineering, mathematics, marketing or similar
  • Strong ability to convert data insights into practical advice on business strategies
  • Knowledge of and experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages/languages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SAS, SQL etc.)
  • English required, Swedish preferred
  • Experience from the banking or financial industry is a strong bonus
